People suck.

I am trying, OH HOW I am trying with all my might not to take things personally at work.  I try to remember that a lot of these people are very stressed and rushed and don't mean to be complete assholes to the one person that's trying to help them (with a smile and an up-beat attitude, nonetheless).

The area that you are in filled with people that are both never going to do that and really have no care to empathize with those that are offering them 'a service.'

The sense of 'rich entitlement' in that area made me insane. I swore never to work in that area again...

I just remember the teenager that walked in with a $1000 check with the memo line, 'school clothes' and was pissed when we wouldn't cash it, when she only has something like 15 dollars in her account. They offered to cash 200 dollars of it, and her raised voice reply was, "What the hell will I do with $200 dollars?!?!? Go into ONE store and only walk out with TWO Shirts!!!!??"

The working of her brain killed me.
