Why not? Not doing anything else.
If you had to give up one of the five senses, which would you choose? Why isn't required, but it makes it more interesting.

That'd make holding onto things a little weird. Basic motor skills become a little more complicated.

It would, but I'd manage. I don't use my touch to interact with the outside world, really- the others I do.

There are other ways to "see". The sense of touch, taste, smell, and hearing seem harder to replace.
However, that might only be applicable to me.
