Gabriel wasn't exactly jazzed about being at Disneyland of all places. It wasn't something he would have chosen on his own accord, that was to be certain. But Elle's energy was rather contagious. She was so cute, kind of like a giant child. He was half tempted to buy her some of those Mickey Mouse ears to complete the tourist look they had going on ( Read more... )

Elle was in some sort of heaven she was sure was designed just for her. She felt--well she felt like she was seven a lot of the time, but she'd never felt more in tune with her littler self than she did then. It was even difficult to concentrate on the map until Gabriel asked her where she'd like to go--she was too busy looking inside the park and at all the people and excited little kids running around.

She smiled up at him gratefully, jumping up to her tiptoes to kiss him soundly on the lips. She was just so happy she was there, and even if he didn't want to be in Disneyland, he came anyway.

"I want to go to Fantasyland first," she said brightly.

He smiled, kissing her back, lingering there for a moment before pulling away. He folded up the map and stuck it in his back pocket.

"Fantasyland."

As long as she didn't make him go on that ride with the obnoxious singing, he'd be alright.
