Gabriel had barely even wanted to go to school. He wanted to stay home and practice his telekinesis more. He hadn't mastered it yet, after all, and that was much more exciting than anything that was bound to happen at school. But he knew he had to go in order to not let his mother know anything was up. The last thing Elle wanted to do in the middle of her English class was drag herself outside when they were learning such interesting things about some fictional moron named Hamlet, but somewhere inside, Elle found the will to do it

Elle's warm body pressed against his was a welcome thing from how cold and wet he was from the sprinklers. He pulled her in closer to her now, whispering in her ear. After all, she was the only person he could tell about what really happened. He liked having someone he could share these secrets with, especially as it was Elle. After all, she had given him this power to begin with, the least he could do was let her in on things.

"I lost control of it, and one of the test tube shattered."

Everyone else just seemed to think it was some sort of freak accident. Or that Jane was just a huge klutz. Or both, depending.

Her grin widened. With another happy giggle, she turned her nose into his jaw, licking off a few wet droplets clinging to his beard. There really wasn't anything that could make this situation sweeter--the fact that Gabriel had done it just made her feel kind of tingly all over.

She didn't even care that he was soaked, and she shivered from the cool dampness, gasping softly as he squeezed her closer. She was only wearing a blue dress, after all. Not only was he chilly, but the fabric was kind of thin, and she could feel all of him.

"Good job," she murmured back with a smirk. She meant it.

A shiver ran down his spine as she licked away some of the small droplets of water. "I didn't do it on purpose," He murmured softly in response.

As her dress dampened from his clothes it was easy enough to see and feel what she was wearing underneath, sending another shiver down his spine.

He was about to say something else as Mr. Banner approached them, clearing his throat. "Gabriel. You're Jane's partner, that's correct, yes?"

He looked up at the teacher in annoyance. He wanted to just focus on Elle. But he nodded anyways. "I am."

"Did you see what it happened."

He thought for a moment before coming up with an answers. "She was being very uncareful, her hand was shaking and she didn't have a good grasp on the test tube. I tried to warn her about holding it like that, but she just wouldn't listen to me."
