Wow, that is odd. I can't help but wonder if she's very unhappy in life, that's simply not normal behaviour. I think you do have to have a degree of pity for her really.

On the plus side, her crazy behaviour is just proving Ty to be an incredibly loyal person. He is being open and honest with you and has laid down the facts to that girl without a second thought :)

I'm not sure where I stand on telling her husband, but I do understand why you did it and hope it gives her the shock she needs to start rebuilding her relationship with him.
