Congratulations to my senator, John F. Kerry on winning nine contests tonight and coming ahead as the standard-bearer of my party, the Democratic Party. Thing is, it's the Democrats that are going to beat Bush, and since John Kerry is, at this point, our nominee, and I feel like he is reasonable enough that he can be pressured into taking more progressive stances on issues, (after all, he is listed by the National Journal as the number one Senate liberal. Therefore, as a Democrat and as an American, I support his candidacy for President and intend to vote for him in Novemeber. I'd urge you to vote your conscience in May, but vote to beat Bush in Novemeber. Then effect change within the Democratic party through other means. After all, much of the important debate goes on within the party. Besides, we NEED PA.
