I used to have no problem with the Bible being taught in schools if it was approached in a literary manner. However, the teacher has no control over the way the kids are going to react to the material. Last year one of my friends got chastised in class for being Jewish and was told she was going to hell, yadda yadda yadda, and the teacher did nothing, which is bull..

It would be amusing if they taught the findings of The Jesus Seminar. They won't, though.
