apparently someone has now shot at Eric Cantor's office. This is what I was worried about....its getting out of hand. The Dems and Reps should get together and denounce these unwarranted responses. We have court cases and elections to settle these matters.

If he'd be a dem that would just be more of the same. He's a republican that creates the whiff of one ups manship...

No one was shooting at him at all...
He is directly distorting what happened.

The bullet's trajectory was so vertically-oriented that when it came through the window, it didn't penetrate past the blinds right on the other side of the window.
Furthermore--it's not even clear that the bullet came through the window of Cantor's own office..... as the link notes the bullet "penetrated a window in a building that includes a campaign office of Rep. Eric Cantor."
So--a random bullet, shot from a random Virginian, up into the air, comes down and hits a window--and Fox News reports that a gunman has shot up Cantor's office...
Cantor knows all of this, and distorts it consciously.... there is no equivalence to these things...
