Not trying to be a jerk, or put you on the spot or anything. But I'm genuinely curious? What's the appeal of MLP? I tried it, didn't like it, but a lot of people... a lot of people I respect (you definitely included)... love it.
I could wax rhapsodic about the characters, the animation, the world, or how subversively aware the show-runners are of their unexpected audience, but at the end of the day, MLP just makes me happy. And that's the important thing.
It's sort of like me asking you about your love for Led Zeppelin, you just dig it or you don't, y'know?

Words of greater wisdom have never been spoken. Can really apply that to anything, actually.
