In theory, yes. From my, (admittedly limited) understanding, 90s Honda products are fairly LEGO-like, and there is a Japan-only engine that pushes the power output from 160 to 200 horses. So I could get some of the proverbial 'overnight parts from Japan' and crank things up a fair bit. I can think of a few things I'd probably do first though, if the money to do so did suddenly present itself.
As for the other question... I'm not really sure myself. I can only assume there is some kind of tax-code advantage to the three-tier structure we are set up in. (Outside temps, inside temps, non-temps) Either that or outsourcing most of your HR department just saves that much money.

And yay for the semi promotion, although I'm confused about how an employer can have an internal temp program. That's just odd.
