This weekend was packed with Festival Activities for the Fall season.
Saturday was the Harvest Festival on base at the Lazy Ranch where they house all the horse's. Its always a nice place with free entertainment for the kids. So I took the kids while Ryan worked and a friend and her sons joined us.
When we first got there, walking up to the actives, I saw a great photo opportunity. The photo didn't turn out at all like I had hoped. With Skyler stiff as a board and fake smile and Liam bolting towards all the activites.
So we headed to the Hayride pulled by a HUGE John Deere tractor to the fake pumpkin patch wayyy back in the hills.
Liam ran and touched and ran some more so many pumpkins that he was just in love with the open field.
He's getting soo big and independent.
They had NO small pumpkins. NILL. So it was quite the task to keep up with two kids, a camera around the neck, diaper bag, and two large pumpkins. ACK.
Liam with his pumpkin. See the hill behind him? That was the highlight of the day. The kids played on that thing scooting and rolling down it for a 30mins until we said ITS TIME FOR LUNCH.
Skyler is still asking to go back to the mountain. ha.
While Liam put sticker on his pumpkin at the craft table. Skyler decided to get his face painted with a blue ladybug. Since blue is her very favorite color.
Running out all his energy in all the open fields. Liam went on a horse finding spree...
Sister went to help him spot some wayyyyy back there grazing the grass.
Liam is calling for me in his crib. So I will have to post Sunday's adventures in another post later this week.
Have a good week Ladies!
