The year started well. Xmas brought with it a wealth of inspiration and I produced a bunch of stories in January and February. Seriously, it was getting frustrating. I think waking up earlier is going to be key for me. I'm lucky since I don't work mornings, so I really need to get out to a coffee shop or breakfast joint and get writing!

Oddly, I had a similar year, starting with stories written, acceptances, and the writing slowing down. I was blaming it on my then job and a half, but it's more likely that I'd acquired more criticality. (oi, that's not a proper word)

Ha, I'm a big fan of imaginary words so no problem on this blog! :-)

I think letting that criticality build up beyond a certain point can be damaging and freeze you in your tracks. I need to stop caring (too much) and just produce more.

I'm guessing the editing of the antho cut into your writing time as well, but wow so cool to have an antho you helped produce out!
