Just received a REALLY close call rejection from the Dark Faith Anthology. Seems it made it right up to the final cuts. Was a little bit bummed to be sure, but it was a really really nice rejection from buddy jerrygordon and a hell of an honor to have even come that close on this antho. Keep on trucking, Justin. It does get discouraging, but all is usually well for me the next day. I figure, "Hey, I'm getting really good at these rejections!" You gotta find the silver lining where you can, huh?

Some seem to roll off me others seem to get in there pretty deep. This wasn't a terrible one. In fact I feel rather encouraged by it.

Thanks, MG! I'm sure I'll sell another given time. It was your mention of Scheherazade's Facade that got me thinking on a plot idea btw. Personally I think any entry that spells the title of the antho correctly should get serious consideration. I always have to like triple check it before posting, ha.

Argggh, sooo close! Those are the best rejections, though, for the oxymoronishness of it all. Good luck with Scheherazade's Facade, and sending out again asap is great, my hat's off to you :)
