In Michigan, the winters are a good five months long, and as I settle into my second year of home-ownership, October has come to be the time of year when my instincts start sounding off the warning bells. why are you not writing for a magazine/newspaper/blog? seriously man.

too bad neither of us has money for supplies, ive built/poured a porch before.

Why? Because I don't have a college diploma, that's why. I know I'm a decent writer, and I really appreciate the thought, as I probably would write for a publication if I were given the chance. But regardless, I'm still considered sub-human so long as I don't have a degree.

No worries about the porch though, it's all under control. :-)

Good stuff! I have to say, a 4 year college degree isn't worth what it used to be. And I can say personally that I understand where you are, because as you prophetically said "we are all Michigan now ( ... )

I'd like to man, but I don't know when I'll be back in Michigan. I might not be back for Christmas or Thanksgiving, because of the no time off at my new job. Yeah, its like that.
