Hello all, Its been a long time since I updated last. I'm back at school now. I've been here for a month but it seems like an eternity because life is reaaalllyy busy. I was talking to my methods professor about my solar system lesson and how I couldn't find any books without pluto in them because it was so new. She didn't know that pluto wasn't a planet anymore and she was really upset. I am too, I can't teach them the mnemonic device or anything. Booo.

I think I'm going to teach a with materials I make myself. I have a book on the Solar System that I can change to exclude Pluto. I'll probably teach a lesson on Pluto too. Its a good way to illustrate that Science is always changing and we always discover new things about space. But it's kind of a bummer that I'll have to make all my own materials, especially worksheets and stuff.

you can use a mnemonic...my very educated mother just served us nuggets. lol
