Well, in technical terms, you recieve more endorphines, so you become really really happy, but if something goes wrong with 'that' person, than you become extremely depressed. You begin to not care about anything other than the person you are in love... stuff like that.

It's when you can make fun of that person hardcore when you're bored and all they do is make fun of you right back :)

And then it's when you can be the biggest fool in the world and they don't give you the "omg-you-embarass-me-so-much" look, but instead they give you the "what-in-the-hell-are-you-up-to-now" look because they understand how you operate.

And then it's when you can hit them and they just do something that they know annoys the hell out of you (like making stupid grammer mistakes or making horrid sounds) instead of retaliating with violence because they know you like to be the one that never gets hit but hits othedr people all the time.

Or maybe that's just me.
