I ran across two book reviews from the New York Times regarding animal spirits in children's literature. While the books are intended for a young audience, some here may find them work reading regardless. Thanks for posting that link. They both look like interesting books. One of the things I admire about Buddhism is it's message of compassion for all creatures - not just humans.
