Financial Institution Fail

After returning home from work, I dig through the mail. I opened what looked like a financial statement from an institution I've never heard of. "Hmm, I wonder if the credit union in California transferred my account concurrent with the split they talked about ages ago ... but I asked to stay with them." Nope, not it. That is very unprofessional on their part. I'd try to find a different place to park my money.

Unprofessional behavior? From a bank? That's never happened before and... oh wait, yeah, forgot about 1928-1932 and 2007-2009. ;-)

This sounds familiar... I had a credit card from US Bank which the statements always had the bank's name on them. One day I started getting letters from some financial institution called "Elan". I tossed them aside thinking it was just another stupid credit card offer. Turns out they were statements for my credit card ( ... )

No, financial fail is when your money is in Lehman funds and the letters stop coming because neither your money nor Lehman Bros. exist any more...
