Yay!

Staff: Everyone came out of the explosion pretty beaten up, but no major damage. We got lucky. And so did John. Because if he’d killed anyone - if he had hurt Ianto - I would have slowly ripped him limb from limb.

Other Staff issues: Although I have to say, Ianto does look good all messed up and dirty.

Capt. Jack Harkness.

Awww, yay! I love whoever writes those blogs. I want them to take over the series.

I'm a teeny weeny bit annoyed with this... because when exactly did he have time to write it? I love that we get one for every ep, but it would reinforce the continuity if they corresponded with the timing of the story (we should have only gotten one for "Reset"/"Dead Man Walking". Oh well).

I assume there's a big SW&A post pending! :D :D :D

Oh never mind then. I was just worried you'd be too sleepy to get to it today. I'll go back.

Hmmm... I have mixed feelings about this. While I want it to be true, it seems to be somewhat disconnected from the episode, and that makes me feel like the whole Captain's Blog is less canonical than I'd like it to be. Firstly, when was Jack supposed to have written this? On his PDA on the way back to the Hub? Secondly, while I do appreciate his concern for Ianto, if that's how Jack is feeling, I'd like to have seen a little more of it come across in the actual episode-- I mean, Jack certainly seemed concerned for Ianto, but no more than for any other members of the team. I didn't have too much of a problem with this in the episode, given that both Tosh and Owen were in far more peril than Ianto was, but it doesn't match up with what's written in the blog ( ... )

It'll be interesting to see where the next two books later this year go and what's in the radio play.

I'm happy with this and not too worried that they'll shut the relationship down at all.

Postive thoughts!

I'm definitely looking forward to the radio play-- I can't wait. :) I assume that that has to be canon. The books aren't technically canon though, are they? Still, it'd be interesting if there was at least one set post-Exit Wounds.

LOL Awwwwww! I love the Captain's blog so much. Honestly, now that Chibnall's left, whoever writes the blog should get his job. The show would turn into a complete space opera, but I'd love it. Heh.

Isn't it Gary Russell?

That's what a number of fans (including myself) believe, but I don't think it's ever been confirmed. I am making it my mission for Saturday to find out who wrote them. Heh.

That would be quite alright by me!

I don't care what anyone says, the Captain's Blog is canon, canon, canon, dammit!
