That was an awesome question to ask James. :) It's interesting that John didn't know about Jack/Ianto-- I always kind of thought that John assumed that Jack was fucking Ianto, simply because that's what he would have done

I think that John probably figures, at least a bit, that Jack is messing around with Gwen, because of the way Gwen puts herself out there, and John's response to her (especially in KKBB, Gwen is the only one he puts in serious danger). What I like best about knowing that John doesn't know about Ianto and Jack is that I want that triangle to develop in S3; wouldn't it be great if John decided that, since he's not currently getting anywhere with Jack, let's have some fun with Eye Candy? And then everything comes out and boom! Big sexy explosion!

Yay, for JM confirming my suspicions, but now I'm all in a quandary about how Jack and Ianto progressed! Part of me wants to believe he was joking because of the felching thing (always looking for a chance to say something dirty and shocking, isn't he?), but this is going to require some serious reexamination of the subtext on my part in order to reconcile the idea.

Any recs for good fics that go with the pre-Cyberwoman theory to help convince me?

I think of all the pics I have the ones of James have come out the best which is sad because they are the ones I want the least!! Oh well!
