Well, I have just spent a very enjoyable evening in front of my TV. I have just realised that I had TW on series link on HD and it's going back through the series! Hooray! So tonight I watched KKBB, followed by episode two of heroes, followed by Sleeper. And do you know what, and of course I may be a tad biased, TW knocks spots off Heroes! Wow! And ( Read more... )

I agree, Heroes is fun, but the writing and acting lack both the nuance and kick of Torchwood. It's weird, I watch American shows and they just seem to lack any subtlety, even things like Lost, which, again, are fun, but just...more manipulative than intelligent. Does that make sense? Anyway, although I don't think it's true, it feels like you haven't posted in ages! I missed you! (I had a long weekend, and I think it messed with my sense of time.)

I am convinced that Ianto has become such a strong character as Gareth has grown in confidence. Seeing him on stage last weekend and the week before, I was struck on many occasions by how much Gareth feeds into Ianto (and I think a bit of vice versa).
