If she's anything like my ex-in laws or my mum, she'll phone for a lift just so she can convince you of the error of your ways. ::rolls eyes:: I'm 37 and my mum still thinks it's a sin that I have my ears pierced and go to movie theatres.
It is strange, that's for sure. I laugh about it too sometimes, when I'm not in the middle of another lecture about my choices and how I'm leading my daughter down into wickedness. And she wonders why I don't chat with her much anymore. Somedays I think about showing up at her house wearing my Ozzy t-shirt and goth jewelery, carrying Harry Potter, a pic of Jack/Ianto from the hothouse, a bottle of vodka and a cigarette...but then I remind myself that I'm a mature woman now and not a rebellious teenager! LOL
I've actually gotten mad at my hubby for some of the comments he's made about gay male couples. He loves Torchwood and yet he covers his eyes whenever there is any m/m stuff going on onscreen. Tosh/Mary and Gwen/Carys was just fine with him though.

Maybe she needs you to do that!! Or maybe it wouldn't change a thing and really isn't worth it!
I've been attracted to both sexes ever since I can remember being aware of these things, and I secretly don't believe that everyone isn't! It seems so completely normal to me. Honestly can't get my head round caring that much about what other people get up to on their own time.
Puking indeed... will never understand why sex - of any kind - is so much more contraversial on TV than the sort of violence we seem to be happy to show our kids, but there you go. Funny old world.
I think I'm a bit more complicated, mostly because I've never really thought about the whys and wherefores of my own sexuality. I have had crushes on other girls/woman (to the extend that I have wanted to kiss them) and I have to admit to a bit of fantasising too. But that's as far as I've ever got and I've certainly never been approached by another woman (obviously not attractive enough!!)
I know. It's all down to religion I'm convinced. Violence is fine but not two men kissing, because it's always been fine for two women to kiss.
I love that another good old Welsh series is onto this at the moment. Young Gareth's ex (carys from 1.o2 TW) seems to be entering into a lesbian relationship in Belonging. I love that programme so much! It's really doing Eve justice.
I think being approached by another woman is a bit of a difficult area... even in gay clubs, I find people sometimes assume I'm someone's straight friend because I'm quite fem looking. All my previous girlfriends have been sort of friends of friends, so it's never been a case of someone just coming up to me. Except just once in a club in London, but there's no accounting for what happens in London ;) She snogged me then asked me if I wanted a threesome with her weird boyfriend... I did not!
And ooh, I've never seen Belonging. I'll have to check it out.
Got the wrong damn day. It's a repeat on BBC2 on Friday. It's on BBC1 on a monday I think. Bloody excellent and young Eve is positively luscious! With knobs on! Now, I definitely fancy her! Ooops!
My sister gets chatted up by women all the time! Just thought I was odd. Perhaps not then! Really though, I think women are far harder to categorise because we are far less conventional than men and far more adventurous. And for some reason, it's so much less offensive. Stupid as a stupid thing that!
