i had a similar conversation with someone in a club here. when they found out i was from the philippines he was all out amazed and told me his undying love for asia and the phils (he hada a babysitter that was pinay kasi). as the conversation continued he told me how he had so much respect for cultures and peoples like us he believed civilisations like ours gave credit to our roots and history and knew how to interact with people and the enviroment succesfully. and becuase of this he said, we would outlast all these other cultures and civilisations. and he went on and on and i was so happy that an american could admit that his country wouldnt be able to last cuz all they knew what to do was exploit and destroy.

but the majority still is in their own lil world.
