That is a very interesting and astute observation, the fact that art has evolved significantly since archaic and caveman drawings due to environmental changes and improvements in technology. And it is interesting to note where art is today and where it will be in ten years from now. What will modern art look like then?

Excellent observation, Justin. Art has definitely been evolving for many years. There must have been numerous changes in the way artists create art. Just like you said, art was created since the Stone Age. How many changes do you think there could’ve been? However, I do know one thing for sure. I think that this early art was religious--they drew those pictures of hunting buffalo because they believed that drawing a picture of killing a buffalo meant that they would have a successful hunt. Later, art seemed to be more about glorifying the society that created it. For example Greek architecture is imbued with the ideas of beauty and perfection that the ancient Greeks espoused. It is interesting think about the religious and cultural underpinnings of art. What does digital art say about our beliefs?
