That's America's job, isn't it? To fly in and try to save the day, after most of the damage has already been done?

fighting for peace is an oxymoron.

it's like protesting against protesting.

agreed. and sometimes, when something is broken beyond all repair, any attempts to fix it will only make it worse. *shrugs* I suppose we're all doomed.

yeah at this point we've basically resorted to the ol' "take my democracy or i'll fight you" routine

speaking of...how is the music thing going?

well it stopped now. i have one CD finished that i completed in 2004. i was writing songs for my country band, that was fun, but i want to get back to my own stuff. i was starting to write for a new CD but then i got deployed. i'll start playing clubs and coffee shops again when i get back to VA.

I think I've heard some of your music from that CD...on myspace or something. good luck with all that, maybe once you're back in VA I'll come hear you play.
