I've always taken life's decisions pretty easily, never worried too much about them, always sort of chose according to my heart and then watched as my consequences played themselves out

Hannah, you know that you are a great actress and if the rest of world hasn't caught up to what we know then I think they will come around in time. First of all I know that you are not a type to just stay at home and become a part-time secretary. You have so much talent with or with out acting. Have thought about teaching theatre? Showing your love and passion to kids and show them how to appreciate the arts? Plus when you to apply for a job no matter what it is if you have a degree it means that you took the time, money, effort, tenacity to stick through it and see the end, it shows character and that is one thing that you have. Don't let this beat you down. Keep going you don't want to do through your whole life going, "What if I would have just finished my degree?" Have you thought about switching you major to comething closely related that is a "real job or goal" <- that's what you were referring to in you entry. Hannah you have so much talent and for you to just give up now would be a huge mistake. You know you want that degree

Thanks for your kind words. But I've been considering this for the past month, and now that I haven't gotten called back to yet another show (one that I truly felt that I had a chance for,) I am positive that I cannot keep spending my money on this. I'm already in $40,000 of debt, and trust me, I have not gotten my momey's worth, nor will I if I keep going to school and racking up more bills and less experience.
I think I could get the same dead-end job with a theatre degree as I can get without it. But at least this way I'll have $20,00 less loans.
