Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont) calls for Obama to end tax breaks for the wealthy and tax loopholes that benefit huge corporations, saying that enough is enough and that deficit reduction cannot be built on the backs of the poor and the vanishing middle class.

He made a 90-minute speech on the floor of the Senate

The super wealthy NEED to be heavily taxed. The rest of us shouldn't have to suffer due to their greed.

Yep. I am so glad the people who can least afford more hardship get to carry the burden =D

Ah, sorry! I... totally spaced on replying to that comment in that other entry! I am indeed going to Otakon, but I am not sure yet if I'll be doing anything other than hanging out with my group. What with the whole being a hermit thing, it's basically my single big social outing of the year because I am just terminally uncool like that. It's only 40ish miles from here, so why not, right? It'll be my second year attending.

I had lots and lots of cosplay plans, but this year I have had absolutely zero time/energy and they all died. I might still manage something, I dunno, but basically my life ffffff. Mostly I will probably be hanging around my group. We can try to find each other somehow? XD
