STRANGE FRUIT stage report (2013.05.16)

May 24, 2013 21:29

I went and saw STRANGE FRUIT about a week ago, and thought I'd write a bit about it. I wouldn't call it report, more like... a review? A short-version of the whole story?
(Just a small warning - this is lacking A LOT in detail.)

Hello, thanks for this fan review <3 99percentcacao June 12 2013, 14:18:39 UTC
Wow! I'm lost for words. This play is something.
The plot of this play is really something. Makes me feel like it would have been better if it was a movie instead. I'm sure it would hit. It's like every scenario connects to the other. Too bad they won't release DVDs.

But what I'm most interested in was Kana and Chiba's story. I think it's really played well, like when Kana told the story of her childhood when he first met Chiba. There's a mix of innocence and attachment to Chiba. Also, the words Chiba said to Kana before he commands the film to roll at the last part is awesome. Like wow, I could imagine how it must've felt to watch that scene. I guess after saying "Action", it all goes back to the first scene where Kana hangs herself?

PS: Did their lips touch? I've been asking people around and they said that it was a fake kiss. Just wanna make sure LOL. One last thing, how does Massu look like in person? Perhaps, twice as handsome as he is on screen? *O* I wanna know~

I'm glad you're content with the review! It was hard to sum up such an amazing play.
Oh, I wish it would become a movie, or just a DVD. It's fantastic.

The last line was so intense. Well, the whole play was intense, to be honest, but the last part was so emotional, and it was so well played. And after Chiba
calls "Action", it ends. So basically, they started the play with cutting the film, and end it with starting. Not just the play itself, but the way they decided to write it, backwards, fascinated me.

I'm pretty sure it was a fake kiss, haha.
Massu is super handsome in person. He looks so... big, in a way, while he's still kind of small. I don't know, it's hard to describe, but big in the muscle way, not anything else! ♪

Your review has told a lot. I've read a fanrep of the butai but yours is really detailed. I've been wanting to know how every scenes are done so that I could have my mind play it to for me LOL and your review really helped me in doing so. Now, I can finally picture how the kissing scene was made. Plus, your review has the exchange of lines between the characters(which I was happy to have read) <3

LOL. Fake kiss, huh. And I thought Massu's lips could finally be "devirginized" (LOL such term). AAAAAND OMG! Knowing that he's twice as handsome in person makes me wanna see him in person soon *A*
I wish I could see Massu someday too.
Oh, and I'm not surprised to hear that he's big. He did say that he was big in person, turns out that he really is <3 It's funny how he looks so small and cute on screen.

I've got a couple of magazines with reports in them as well, including pictures! I'm not sure if they have been scanned and uploaded - if not, I'll scan mine when I have the opportunity, and put the pics up here. I think it'd feel more complete with pictures!

I'm sure you'll have a chance to see him irl at some point!^^
