Hmm...Well, I've haven't seen Goblet of Fire yet. This is the first time I'm planning on taking one of my kids with me. We've read the series up to and including Goblet of Fire and my daughter is old enough IMO to see the film in the theatre. She's very, very excited. Yay!!! Janey is still out there!! How fun to take your daughter with you this year! That you've read the books will help considerably, as much is crushed into the first part of the movie that would make little sense without the context of the book.

Finding suitable and affordable childcare has been the bane of my dating existance for a long time. Thank goodness they'll be at an age when I can leave them at home for short periods of time soon. Although the idea of doing that sends chills down my spine.

Btw, your Baby Boo is adorable as ever. I enjoy her pics in your LJ. I am bad about posting things but I am a faithful reader of your LJ.

Hello, Jane! Good to hear you've got a nice group of kids in class this year; hope Fred feels better soon.

I saw GoF last Saturday; have you and Alexandra seen it yet? I liked it; wouldn't say it's a great movie, but it's at least a decent book adaptation. I'm planning to see LWW with some kids from church on Sunday afternoon.

P.S. By the way, CSL's stepson is named Douglas Gresham. Perhaps you were confusing him with Christopher Tolkien, JRRT's son?

Hello! About the Christopher thing? I think you're right about getting him mixed up with Tolkien's son. It's funny, I didn't realize that I'd done that until a few days after I posted it. It just hit me out of the blue that I had gotten the name wrong. I wasn't even really thinking about my LJ, either. My brain sometimes works really slowly, and mysteriously... (Was too lazy to correct my mistake, so I appreciate you mentioning that ( ... )
