NCIS/TS Fic: The Cost of Divorce 4/?

Jul 31, 2009 10:06

Given Bunka had poured scorn on the idea that this shooting might be part of a serial, Sandburg decided to use the time during the walk back to the house on Lovegood Street to question the Baltimore detective about his suspicions. After all, Bunka wasn't here, so hopefully Tony would feel more comfortable discussing his suspicions. Also, if ( Read more... )

My Bad...

The discussion that could be heard wasn't a discussion at all; it was the tail end of a short, but vicious, fight.

Gibbs had driven to the Baltimore PD at his normal breakneck speed parking with ease in front of the PD's doors. Luck might have had something to do with the ease with which Gibbs was able to park but Gibbs being Gibbs it may well have been an examples of the Universe, using all the sense nature had provided, aligning the stars so that as Gibbs drove down East Fayette Street a police cruiser pulled out leaving that free parking space right in from of the PD's doors. Even Universes' could have a sense of self-preservation.

Another great chapter. This is moving along quite well and keeping my interest to see what's going to happen next.

I like that DiNozzo picks up on the fact that it's really Sandburg who's the most dangerous of the pair. I always thought the same thing.

Given the quality of your work I am really pleased I can weave a tale that catches your interest. Next week we will finally get to the meat of the case details then it's a hunting we will go.

Should I worry that I like writing fictional serial killers?

I hope you continue to enjoy.

Thanks for the kind words about my work.

I don't think you should worry about writing serial killers. You're not playing them up as heroes, but instead writing about the positive forces that help capture and contain the evil that lives in this world. That's the main focus, as it should be, and why people will keep reading.

*does a happy dance*

Your update has provided me with a great way to continue procrastinating those phone calls I have to make. Thanks for that.

Blair is a bit of a meddlesome matchmaking, isn't he? It's adorable.

I'm a little confuzzled by something. Does Gibbs know that Jim is a Sentinel and Blair is his Guide, or does he just know there is something different about the both of them?

I loved that you included another fandom, I hope there will be guest stars from other shows!

Out of curiosity, did you start out in the Sentinel fandom or NCIS?

Thanks so much for sharing, happy writing, and update soon please!

Tabee :)

Started out in The Sentinel. But I read way too quickly so I need multiple fandoms to keep me satisfied (Did I just write that? ~.^ )

Gibbs has been told Jim is a Sentinel but he doesn't really get what it means, yet (see Chapter 2). As for Blair and the Guide stuff... heheheheh

Will be updating weekly.

5-6 Chapters to go. I hope you continue to enjoy the ride.

oh man, the multi fandoms? I totally get that. I currently have 2 major ones (BtVS and NCIS) but I have at least 10 minor or past major ones that I revisit almost constantly cuz authors don't spit out new stories fast enough for me. If I had it my way, y'all would be chained to your computers and writing constantly.

Ah, you have so much awesome stuff going on, I must have missed the part where Gibbs was told. Oh well, thanks for telling me.

5 more chapters to go? Yay! That makes me super happy cuz you write chapters at a nice long length.

Thanks!

Tabee :)

The only problem with throw away lines like that is they demand stories...

Hope you continue to enjoy.

Another interesting and entertaining chapter. They've not moved the case forward much, but they've certainly moved the byplay and jurisdictional bits along well. The banter is entertaining and it's interesting watching the trust forming between the main four as they work together more and more.

I'm still wondering about what about Ducky was setting Jim's senses off so wildly. I'm also wondering what, if anything, should be made of the fact that Gibbs could hear what Blair was saying when Jim was in his zone.

I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

Laura.
