I read about that on another site last week and wondered what kind of impact it would have on you two. Like you said, at least Jim had already gone through the process of scaling back his hours anyway, so it isn't completely leaving you in a lurch. It is good that they are staying open through the holidays, too, since this is not the time of year people want to be losing a job. Just think of all the full-time people this affects. Good luck with your future plans. I'm sure things will work out well for you.

Thanks for thinking of us! This probably wouldn't worry us so much if we hadn't been on track to be mostly debt-free by the end of next year. This event may derail those plans slightly or entirely. We just don't know yet, and probably won't until after Tax Season.
