Oh my god - check this out!! I’ve been wanting to go to the south to help with the hurricane Katrina relief efforts, but thought I couldn’t because of work. Look what I found out today!!: Swedish will allow all employees to request up to two weeks off to volunteer for the relief effort. If employees use up to a week of their own vacation time,

My girlfriend is going in December... although right now, they're primarily looking for people who can get trained and go NOW.

Which group is she volunteering with, and what types of things will she be doing? I am looking for organizations to contact...
