Oh my god - check this out!! I’ve been wanting to go to the south to help with the hurricane Katrina relief efforts, but thought I couldn’t because of work. Look what I found out today!!: Swedish will allow all employees to request up to two weeks off to volunteer for the relief effort. Wow, that's great. I wish my boss would let me go.

My girlfriend is going in December... although right now, they're primarily looking for people who can get trained and go NOW.
