photography woes :(

I am so upset!! I just found out that both Agfa and Forte are going out of business-- or at least their papers are being discontinued. I *loved* their papers, and used them all the time when printing my B&W photos. It is really depressing. Is film photography becoming a dying art ( Read more... )

You could scan your negatives and proof them that way. It's possible that Kinko's (or somewhere) has a good transparency scanner you could rent and then you could correct them in PS (at my place??) then print at Costco (cheap). We both have transparency scanners, but I don't think either of them are good enough to make gallery prints from. Anyways...Let me know if you need my assistance.

I never used those papers, but I miss printing on RC (Ilford Multi-grade pearl). It's just so much thicker and better feeling than the crap you get from most digital print labs.

That is a great idea! Thanks for offering :) But I want to print B&W photos on fiber paper...
I think I will just shell out the $$ to have them printed, or do it myself depending on time.
I love that RC paper too!! :)
