"The Horse and his Boy" is without a doubt my favorite of the series. I liked the exploration of Calermon culture and for some reason I really dug the book. I know it normally doesn't make peoples lists, but hey I love it.

The book really stood out from the rest of the series in so many ways. It takes place in the middle of another book and you get a teasing glimpse of the four Pevensies. But for me, the best part was getting to see a bit of the other lands besides Narnia, especially Archenland.
