the let down after the holidays
I am just depleted. I have no more energy. Katey has been with me all week. I forgot how much energy a 7 year old has. My head hurts. I have been taking ibup for 2 days now. Merry Christmas
Going for another long weekend. I think I will have computer withdrawls being at my moms for 5 days. Katey will be coming back with me and staying all next week. I am so glad. It will be nice to have her home with me, if only for a week. I am sure we will find some fun things to do around here ( Read more... ) -
holidays and feelings
As I sit her at my computer, my apartment smells like a bakery. I did some candy making today. I hope they are alright considering I totally bombed on making my favorite peanut butter balls this past weekend. There were absolutely horrid. So the garbage can is enjoying them ( Read more... ) -
leaving for the weekend
I hadn't planned on leaving until after lunch today, but my mom has called twice with the weather report from her end. and it's not good. They are getting snow pellets or something of the like up there. We are supposed to be getting some snow here today as well. So I guess I will be leaving shortly. Done with Infusions and still more appointments
Had my last iron infusion yesterday. Glad that is done now. I have to go back in February to have 5 more. I think I have had so much blood drawn in the past month......oh my! Went to my GP today for a recheck from last week....there was a mix up on the migraine medicine at the pharmacy....they told me they didn't have it....the doc said they ( Read more... ) -

On the road again today. Heading up north, since mom and Tiny will be home on Sunday. Katey has a Christmas dance recital tomorrow. I am really looking forward to it. Love to watch her dance. Finally home after the long weekend. I had a wonderful time with Katey. I can't believe she is 7 and so busy and fun. I can't wait to go back up to see her again this Friday. She has a dance program at the church and then going Christmas caroling on Sunday. My mom will be back on Sunday from Texas too. Looking forward to seeing her back too ( Read more... ) -

Back from the trip up north for this past weekend. Katey and I had a great time. The only things that sucked....Katey had the flu when I got there on Friday. She didn't feel the greatest on Saturday either. Today she woke up more like her usual self. For me, my muscles and joints hurt a lot over the weekend. The weather is changing to ( Read more... )
