hmmm, i suspect howard's in for a surprise. :) heero's a little devious and duo's being a dipshit. duo being so oblivious to shelley's obvious manipulations is just killing me here! :) i know he's not serious about her at all -- doesn't even think of her, really. but man, i wanna go flatten her some. ...and now duo's beginning to think thoughts he shouldn't.
Still wanna snuggle and cuddle Heero. And smack Duo. So frustrating! >_< Nrrrrrrrh. Not writing Howard off for dead just yet, though. I know I'd be able to find the symptoms of any disease in existence in myself, so his thinking that he has cancer says absolutely nothing. u_u
Heya! Omg, poor Heero, again! There he goes shopping for Duo's favorite food and Duo obliviously spends the whole afternoon with the girl's stupid manipulated car... *weeps* What a slap in the face... o.O'
I love the scene when Heero walks home and is surprised by the noise in the bush. The way he automatically analyzes the best hiding-spot for a hitman and how he expects the kid to act like a killer (at first) is great. Shows that it's not so easy to leave the past behind.
Did Howard kind of self-diagnose that he has cancer, or did he visit a doctor? That's not really clear. And hm yeah, I hope Heero will guess Duo's thoughts.
I also hope you'll update soon. This story is so great! ;)

Even if it's physically impossible for two women to have babies, I want to have yours because of this fic! ;D I, too, am hoping that Heero will soon be close to getting what he wants (Duo) and that Howard isn't that bad off, but for some reason, I almost want Howard to die. I like the morbid-true-to-life scenarios in fanfiction, and think it might also be fitting for the story---though, I still can't wait to see what you'll cook up for the coming chapters :D The one thing I absolutely love about this story is that you have the dynamics of not only Heero and Duo, but Howard as well. Howard, from what I've seen, is very hard to describe and understand as a character, and I think you're doing him very well for this story.
The two things I'm most excited about, however, is Rickky's part, along with how Duo's going to cope with the newfound information that Howard got cancer right after he met Duo---I think Duo's going to be angst-ing over that for quite a while, and I can't wait to read it :D
