Because those are the ones you trust/trusted most. When that happened to me I re-played all the times shared with someone that I called a close friend and realized they were just using me. I dunno about you but I just got caught up in the moment with someone I thought I had a special bond with (sorry I didn't mean to get all hystorical on you) but yeah...I probably didn't help you at all.
