so here i am downloading this apparently obscurotron street fighter game, the one with akuma and ruth. i keep getting street fighter alpha 2 but that doesnt work for some reason, so Lord knows if thats actually what im looking for ( Read more... )

i'm going to go on a total whim and guess that the sega fighting game was eternal champions, because I know it had fatalities, but I'll be damned if i ever got them to work

oh my God. I've spent half my life looking for that game. and you nailed it. wow.

yeah the fatalities were impossible like, you had to have the person die in a certain place, with a certain move , and then depending on the level, you have to go to a certain part of it (if theres even a place for it on that level) and then perform some button sequence. so yeah, i did one once, totally on accident. it was cool.

and yeah, i thought it was streetfighter 3, but i cant find the game anywhere. even places that claim to have all the games listed dont have it. it *is* super nintendo, right?

oh if its super nintendo it must be street fighter alpha 2, the biggest SNES cart ever and also the only cart that manages to somehow have a load time. AMAZING

i have the original but I do recall reading that most emulators can't play it because it has some special chip in it. your milage may vary

a good game to play on NES was the never released Earthbound 0

ive actually stumbled across earthbound 0. its a load of fun, though ive only beaten the SNES EB.

yeah, i was afraid that the alpha one was what i was looking for. i remember the load times, which i never really noticed since my cousin also owned a genesis.

man i owned with Ruth. I gotta figure out a way to get this game working.
