We just don't. We only know when it's coming, because Mom starts arguing with Dad about him taking the day off a week in advance. And she keeps bugging him and bugging him and bugging him...

I think he might act like he's not going to just to make her mad. But he always takes the day off unless there's a big thing happening at the firm, and she takes the day off at the store, and then we have to leave in the morning and not come back until the next afternoon.

They go off into the bedroom (soundproofed when I was two), and I eat candy.

And I don't see them for hours. I think that's their anniversary thing.

But your parents' is signifcant to them too, from what I've heard.
