i watched it when it first came on. after 7 (or so) episodes i was still waiting for it to get good. i guess i should've known better than to watch something starring eliza dushku.
There would have been little point in my participation. Everyone on my friends list either watches the show already or has decided that they do not like it and will not watch it again.
The very first episode I saw featured Echo as a bodyguard for a singer who was tired of fame. That episode had the tone of a bad after school special and I was not inclined to watch it again. I continued to give it a chance because of Amy Acker. She's awesome.
I enjoy the metaphysical and ethical dilemmas the show raises, as well as the emotions that most of the actors bring to their portrayals. However, the execution of many of the plots often leaves me feeling like something was missed. I also feel that Eliza Dushku was a poor choice for Echo, as she doesn't have the range the role requires. As such, Dollhouse isn't necessarily must see for me, though that will change when Summer Glau appears.
