Okay, so I have decided I will post my reviews here itself anyways. :)
Well, I am currently reading "Naked Edge" (I-Team #4 by Pamela Clare), my 55th book of the year. Absolutely LOVE her writing.
I am still getting over the accident part at the beginning of the story (since I almost drowned once... Well, reading about Kat and her new phobia got me all itchy about my sea-adventure-turned-sour..)
But hey, it's all about getting back on track. And even if I have not yet tried to go snorkeling again, I will try again someday. Hopefully.
But back to Naked Edge. We get some news of what's happening in the lives of the previous books' characters (Kara, Tessa and Sophie). And that was a really nice touch. :)
I'm not very far in the book (about 50 pages in) and I can say that I am intrigued over how the story will unfold. [For those who don't know, Miss Clare writes about HEA but with lots of suspense and killer action scenes.]
Everyone else knows that Kat and Gabe (the main protagonists in Naked Edge) will come together at the end, but still, the journey is nice to follow. We need to the dream after all and to believe that true love and all those sappy thoughts about Mr. Right is not just a fantasy.
And as for me, well I like to think that having a difficult start makes everything more worthwhile. :-)
