So my first teaching gig ends today. It went well - although I caught some nasty bug from the kids at the end of the first week, and was like death warmed over for several days of our last week together. But I'm getting over it, and now feel like I have a small cold

devil's advocate, I cough all the time and sometimes when i've been coughing alot there is a little blood in there from a very raw throat....

that being said - it's not a normal occurance for you, so you should go get it checked out. Even i did that when it happened to me the first time.

1. have you been exposed to severe amounts of ciggie smoke?
2. is there mucus laced with blood OR Straight up Blood?
3. Do you have health insurance to cover a doctor visit?
4. Find an urgent care and phone in your symptoms if you can.
If you haven't been sick lately and you're suddenly coughing blood as in BLOOD not just a little bit..then its ER time. No joke, however if you're hacking up all sorts of random yuckness and some happens to be red -- you broke a blood vessle somewhere...not the end of the world but not fun. good luck - e-mail me if you need further support.
