Woohoo! Chef superstore has a bunch of new flavor syrups that I use to mix my my own creamer. I just score Chocolate Macadamia nut, and English Toffee. This time I also bought some ghiradelli white chocolate which can also be used on ice cream or in cheese cakes. TGIF and TGIMay!!
I'm ready for this month to be over with. I've had two of the worst calls of 10 yr career as a paramedic in this month, so I am looking for a better summer. I shouldn't whine about it though, when I have a 'bad call', it truly is a tragedy in someone else's life. I get haunted by some of my calls though. My birthday weekend was super!! It started Thursday night with women coming by for wine, hor d'ouerves and a finger wrap class. I like to call it that even though the friend doing the class was trying to sell her wares, because I looked at as a chance also to learn how to put those wraps on that you can buy in the store, which I have never mastered ( Read more... ) -
Beautiful weather!!
I'm so glad the weather has finally settled down into an evenness. The temperature is cool at night and warm during the day. this type of weather is not too bad to work in, but boy when it gets hot, watch out. I may be regretting the day shift. NOT!!
