Kill Bill Vol. 2

I saw Kill Bill Vol. 2 today and I have to say it really should have been released as a single film. The first film was (to me) a disjointed mix; all flash, not much story. Vol. 2 balances it out nicely, and I find myself looking very favorably at the film as a whole. There was a lot more for Uma Thurman to play off of in the second film, making ( Read more... )

Definelty Vol.2 was a richer story, but would it have been as good without Vol. 1. I think it could stand alone but you understood the bride and how she works better. ONE OF MY TOP FIVE SCENES IN A MOVIE EVER: watching Lucy Lui run down that long table and chop the guys head off. Effing priceless!!!

Vol. 1s best value is how well it does the comic book imagery. Many films are attempting this now days but few achieve as well as Quinten did here. Vol 1. soundtrack so much better the music scored Vol. 2.

Darryl and Micheal are awesome in the snake scene.
