I hate talking heads. They can make such stupid-ass statements and people accept it as news when, in fact, it's just a really dumb opinion. Here's Media Matters' list of the top ten outrageous statements of the year

Perhaps everyone that has their name up in lights, or something to that effect, needs to just shut the hell up and stop trying to impose their beliefs on us. Not to mention stop opening their mouths. Just because you are a political rightist or leftist, doesn't mean that everyone wants to hear your drabble come out of your mouth. I'm with you... shut 'em up.

The big issue for me is the perception the general public has of these people. If they were very clearly opinion that would be one things. However, they are often portrayed as serious journalists. Hell, on Al Franken's show he has comedy sketches mixed in more serious commentary. How does the average listener know what is or isn't real?
