that's interesting. you seem quite emotionally invested in other people's relationships. i'm not saying it's bad or anything, but i personally find it kind of hard to really feel strongly about other people's love lives, beyond of course the normal well-wishing and not wanting to see your friends hurt. when two people i know split up, i feel bad for them, but the death of love doesn't bother me on a cosmic level or anything.

I know all kinds of people, and seen all kinds of scary things too. It's just that I always know, that I really never know.. but when I look into the eyes of love and forget those hands of fear I know whats really dear and long for you to be here.

i have to say.. it's easier now that she's across the country. and yes, we did terribly stupid things. all for nothing.

i miss the hugs the most.

anyway, to not be so depressing i'll change the subject.. starbucks has a new drink! i went to order my usual "grande mocha frap with no whip cream and an extra shot" and the guy says, "would you like that in ahfro-something? it's a new drink that we're going to promote starting in a couple of weeks, and it's basically a mocha frap with no whip cream and we put the espresso shot in last"

so i say "ok" and find out it's one of the best things i have ever tasted.

do you know what it's called, exactly? i wanna order it next time.

Unless you know another couple who ended up the exact same way we did, I would assume Adam and I made your list up there...but it's nothing to be sad about. We both loved and smiled and learned so much. It's just that after so much time together, after discovering every little thing about one another, over time we came to realize that we weren't compatible for life. That's all there is to it.

I still absolutely positively believe in love that lasts forever.

And anyway, until he can start beating me at Halo 2, I'll have no problems with being his roommate and friend. :)
