Since wings means flight, it's a simple deduction to make that whosoever would receive such things, would want to test them out at the first opportunity.

He'd been shooting up through the stairwells at their widest parts, and catches sight of Kaito - soon realising that it's OK from several small tells, the biggest of which being his voice - while making his way more horizontally down one of the corridors.
