The kitchen at the moment, and not all that surprisingly, looked like a disaster area. Burnt waffles and eggs, pans with things burnt on soaking in the sink, and the place smelled smoky. Not to mention various egg goo and batter and flour all about.
And there is a Kaito and Shinichi in the kitchen, now eating cereal. Clearly, they gave up and went for cereal. And coffee. Always have to have coffee for breakfast.
Though Kaito ate at the table, Shinichi chose to stand and eat.
And the two look far too pleased to be normal.
