"Ha! I did it!" Conan declared in the dining hall.
What had he done exactly?
Put up a banner declaring 'Happy Birthday Conan(s) and Shinichi(s).' As well as gathered a bunch of tables together with cakes and lemon pie and whatever other food was either his favorite or he remembered as Shinichi's favorite.
Why?
Because while Shinichi didn't remember his birthday at all, Conan certainly did. And he figured something like a birthday was likely to stay constant.
