 Saguru is, at the moment, slightly unrecognisable as a Saguru, having come from a point in his life when he isn't in need of pretending to look like he did before.  His hair is curly and brown.  He's wearing strange clothes.  And the room he's in looks like it's from a point in the distant future - there are paper books, CDs, holograms and a great ( Read more... )

[physically unrecognizable, perhaps, but some resemblances can't be hidden - although his aura is still strange enough that Akako stops in the doorway, leaning against the lintel with deceptive casualness, her arms folded as she tries to puzzle out whether she'd imagined that faint flash of recognition]

[Since she hasn't yet spoken or brought attention to herself, she can watch while he goes through several more books at a rapid pace, muttering - mostly in Japanese, with a still-strong hint of an English accent underneath, but also with words from several other languages thrown in at points.]

...and yet, if that happened, then this wouldn't have...
